Welcome to Personal Finance Made Easy

Here at Personal Finance Made Easy, we strive to bring you quality information related to personal finance. Almost everyone struggles with personal finance issues from time to time. Some struggle with it for their whole lives. The reasons for this are many-fold, but chief among these is that personal finance is not something taught in most school systems.  They teach us ‘proper’ English, fundamentals of math, and even about ancient Greece, but they don’t teach us about the most important issue we face on a Daily basis: the fundamentals of personal finance, and how we can even start managing our finances ( let alone manage it well).

This site hopes to remedy that situation. We strive to educate the general public on how to manage the money we have, live within our means, and with planning and money management grow our available funds over time to become financially independent.

We invite you to join us on this quest for knowledge and power over our finances and our Lives.

Thank You for visiting our Site. We look forward to your return visits and stories of personal finance.

Financial Adventurer.

Personal Finance Made Easy

Personal Finance: What is It?

When most people think of the words personal finance, they think of long and boring discussions of stocks, and bonds, and annuities…and a whole host of other financial terms. Well, they are partially correct, these all have their place and position in the extremely vast world of finance and money. Generally, when speaking of Personal Finance, we want to emphasize the first part, personal. That is how each of us, individually, deal with our money.

So What Exactly is Personal Finance?

Quite plainly, personal finance is every aspect of one’s life that deals with money- whether it is buying the latest video game, saving for that down payment on your next car, paying your rent or mortgage, or saving for retirement. Your personal finances affect every aspect of your life, from your relationships with others, to your lifestyle, and possibly even, how you think about yourself.

How we deal with our money determines whether we shop at Sam’s Club or a gourmet food store, whether we rent or eventual buy our home, how we fund our children’s college, and in the end, whether we struggle throughout our retirement or live comfortably in our golden years.

We hope this helps clarify our mission and goals here.
